Georgetown Public Schools seeks applicants for a part-time (15 hour per week) Human Resources Generalist.
for the Superintendents office.
Under the direction of the Confidential Secretary to the Superintendent, this position will provide a wide range of advanced administrative support for Human Resource functions and programs.
The position will prepare and facilitate the school departments, hiring and onboarding; process CORI and SORI verifications; and assist the Confidential Secretary to the Superintendent with related work projects.
The position will maintain documentation and data bases including educator licensure, and staff rosters.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities Formalize the hiring process and workflow for all staff of Georgetown Public Schools Facilitate the hiring process including:
posting positions, reviewing applicants, liaising with the hiring manager, scheduling interviews, writing hiring letters, and collaborating with the business office Manage new staff onboarding process including:
completing CORI and SORI verifications, completing of mandated training modules including State of Massachusetts Ethics Training, communicating updates on the process to the hiring manager Perform other responsibilities assigned by the Confidential Secretary to the Superintendent.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
